I got the chance to finally go on a hiking trip in Korea a whiiiiiiilllleee back. It was with my theater group. I thought we would maybe go about halfway up, and then find some nice shady area to rest and have a picnic then head home. However, there were a few more athletic types in the group. Also we took some wrong ways and the half-way hike turned into an intense trek up and down the different summits. Needless to say, this was not what my weak unconditioned limbs had in mind. I complained and whined the whole time, but when it was all said and done (it had to be at least 6 hours total, but I can’t remember exactly) I did feel somewhat accomplished. I debated with myself whether the views and feelings were worth it… I guess I’m still having that debate. What do you guys think?
